		<description>First off ignore what the guy before said.  If you have a federal student loan, I believe your granted up to 36 months to defer your payments.  I would take advantage of that, but only as long as you  need it.  Remember those don&#039;t come back once their gone. 

If you have a private loan, most of them give you 2, 6 month deferment terms after you graduate, as well as offering a repayment plan that will lower your monthly payments significantly.  Explore all your options before letting your payments get late or taking a job like delivery pizza.
