    I would suggest consolidating the federal loans. But if you are not making bank it still is going to be hard to get a mortgage without a cosigner. You can change your payment if you claim economic hardship which might make it easier. However if you do this, you are extending the time for paying back the loans. There is no easy way, other than pay off all of the other stuff. Sound like you are headed in the right direction. Keep it up! Good Luck!

    I agree with the response before me. You must consolidate your loans. I would also advise that you read The Money Book for the Young Broke and Fabulous. It is a great read by Suze Orman which helps you with everything from student loans to buying your first home.
