Try getting financial Aid, Her high school counselor should know some scholarships, and stuff, tell her to ask them. She should get a student loan, most of my friends have loans. I live in California so I don’t know about Colorado, but All the colleges in California provide student loans for the students. She should ask her teachers and friends too. Unless all of her friends are super rich one of them probably have the same problem to, and her teachers should know since they teach many students each year.
The school that she is going to should have an office on Campus to help find scholarships/grants that are offered to students in your state. Also, have you applied her for any Federal Student Loans/Grants?
Another thing that may be an option is a Work/Study program. At my school, a lot of students work in whatever department their major belongs to a few hours each week, and the school pays for a certain amount of student fees/tuition. Hope that helps. Good luck!
